 I&#039;m more interested in how to implement day to day stuff like &quot;Duty of care&quot;, in other  words your responsibility for your own actions (or indeed inactions) and for the actions of others.
My interpretation of Health and Safety is that If you observe an activity which you could reasonably be expected to know was unsafe about to take place, you have an unavoidable duty to stop it.
There also needs to be a mechanism whereby whenever a new piece of machinery is introduced, appropriate rules of operation are established and published, and if necessary appropriate standards for training to operate.</description>
